Is Band9 an official IELTS product?+
No. Band9 is an independent AI teacher that trains you for IELTS. The exam is administered by IDP, British Council, and Cambridge — we prepare you to sit it.
Which version of IELTS do you cover?+
Both Academic and General Training. Speaking and Listening are identical; Reading and Writing switch based on the version you select.
Can Band9 score my Writing accurately?+
Our scoring is calibrated to the four public band descriptors. In blind trials against certified examiners we land within 0.5 bands on the majority of essays.
Do I need a microphone for Speaking?+
Any laptop or phone microphone works. Speaking sessions are transcribed on-device, then scored as if you were sitting the real interview.
